The Zildjian ZXT series features superior sheet bronze, and offers more distinct models than any previous Zildjian sheet bronze selection. Each cymbal reflects unique lathing lines and distinctive hammering patterns designed to accentuate its sound properties. The Zildjian ZXT cymbals look different because they sound different. The bright, powerful voice they share – the ZXT alloy- is as mighty as any Zildjian.
Zildjian Bronze Technology begins with precisely identical bronze discs. The sheet cymbals are shaped, hammered and lathed with the same care as all Zildjian cymbals. Their voices have a higher pitch, more focused overtones and a faster decay than Cast Bronze cymbals and produce a more consistent sound from cymbal to cymbal.
The ZXT Pro setup includes: solid pair of 14" hats with a bright attack and full sound; bright, full-bodied 16" medium-thin crash with excellent projection qualities and a sharp, high-pitched attack with fast decay; and a 20" medium ride with good stick definition and a great, high-pitched bell.
The Zildjian ZXT Pro pre-matched box set includes 14" Solid Hi Hats, 16" Medium Thin Crash, 20" Medium Ride and a free cymbal bag.
