My piano teacher recommended a Yamaha digital piano as an alternative to an acoustic one. I have space limitations and the YDP223 fits perfectly in my room. It sounds better than I had anticipated, so I'm very pleased.
I'm glad we waited to buy the YDP223. We almost bought the YDP221 two years ago, but decided to wait. It was the right decision. The Yamaha YDP223 has MIDI, and good quality piano voices. I don't know how they do it, but the action is very good. Much better to me than other brands.
My kids absolutely love this digital piano. It sounds and feels like a real piano. The piano teacher said we had to have weighted keys and this instrument had the best bang for the buck. I highly recommend it!!
