The Yamaha APX500 should be your choice for an acoustic-electric guitar if you are looking for a guitar with great tone at a reasonable price. The APX500 is the most affordable guitar in the APX series, and sports a spruce top and Nato back an sides.

Powered punch is guaranteed with a piezo pickup mounted under the saddle in combination with a 3-Band EQ with integrated tuner.

It's unparalleled blend of superior acoustic sound and response make it the instrument of choice for many professionals all over the world. Played acoustically or through the internal electronics, the APX5A delivers extraordinary tone and response and provides the expressive freedom and versatility necessary for the creative guitarist.
