The Yamaha YSL882O Custom trombone has a one-piece bell with a lengthwise seam, making it a continuous extension of the trombone's material. This results in pure, uniform resonance and superior tone. The large 8 11/16" bell in combination with other design improvements produces a singing, colorful open sound with a projecting solid core.
The open wrap F attachment has a more open feel and quicker response than the conventional wrap. The narrow slide results in a faster slide technique allowing you to get around the horn easier. The rounded slide crook has no sharp turns, which opens the feel and response of the trombone.
