The Yamaha YAS62II alto sax is the Mark II, or second generation of Yamaha professional alto saxophones that feature a redesigned octave key for smooth and quick response and a new neck receiver that allows you to project a more even tone.
Other important features include blue steel springs, silicon treated pads, adjustable thumb rest, tilting style low Bb key, and a refined key shape designed for comfort and speed that allows you to hold the sax in a more natural manner. The YAS62II also has an annealed body which gives the saxophone optimum density for superior tone.
Yamaha saxophones have enjoyed a long, successful history with players of all styles, including professional artists, students, as well as faculty and music educators. The Yamaha sax is known for its resonance and ease of play and pleases the most discriminating of saxophonists.
