The Yamaha SVB200 Silent Bass is a performance-oriented bass, and is designed with a compact body and detachable frame. This makes transporting it to and from the gig a breeze. Built-in electronics offer plug-and-play simplicity, while its full-bodied tone lets it fit naturally into any jazz setting or add a unique texture to a pop gig.
Volume, Treble, and Bass controls on the SVB-200 provide easy control of the instruments tone. The active electronics offer plug-and-play operation without the need of external preamplification.
The SVB200 Silent Bass utilizes a sophisticated Piezo pickup system positioned directly underneath the bridge to deliver optimum tone quality. A height adjustable bridge lets you adjust the height to meet personal playing preferences.
This Yamaha Silent Bass outfit includes a soft protective gig bag and one 9V battery. To provide greater comfort and support while playing the Silent Bass, a knee support and extension frame are optionally available.
