The LLX16TSB features the System 60 ART preamp used on Yamaha's LL26 and LL36 models. The System 60 couples the 3-way A.R.T sensor system to an exclusive preamp which offers ultra-simple controls (3 independent pickup volumes – bass, full-range, treble - and master volume) with hi-fi grade components for the most transparent, powerful acoustic electric system available.
Using custom-designed, calibrated push-push pots, the System 60 controls are designed to offer stage-friendly ergonomics but can be hidden away and not detract from the traditional looks of the L-Series when not in use. The L-Series A.R.T system faithfully reproduces the stunning tone of the L-Series guitars with complete transparency – both in terms of sound and playing experience.
