The new Yamaha Silent Violin provides violinists of all levels with the experience of playing in the sonically rich, virtual environment of a concert hall - while the silent characteristics also offer the advantage of being able to play or practice anytime, or anywhere!

Refined with an oval shaped neck and advanced circuitry, the Yamaha SV120 Silent Violin offers enhanced playability and cleaner sound along with its full-bodied tone and volume.

Neck: Hard maple.
Body: Spruce.
Fingerboard/pegs: Ebony.
Bridge: Hard maple.
Side body/chin rest/tailpiece: Molded plastic.

Strings: D'Addario Helicore strings.
Sensor: Piezo pickup
