	The Samick AV6 electric guitar is part of the Avion Series, which pays tribute to the original designs of the 50’s, yet offers its own unique visual character and performance benefits. When the premier builders of the 50’s set out to create the first solid body electrics, it was only natural to imitate the look of the great arch top guitars of that period. These ground-breaking designs not only endured but became industry icons because the design work was truly remarkable. Little did they know what use the Blues, Rock, and Heavy Metal players of the future would make of these guitars. Many players love the look of an arch top solid body guitar like the Samick AV6, but are not aware of the incredible performance benefits it generates. The arch top adds mass for rigidity under the bridge, preventing the body from stealing energy off the string. This may add some weight, but the improvement in attack and sustain is worth it. The maple top on a mahogany body provides serious definition with an amazingly warm tone. The set neck single cutaway design creates a tight connection between neck and body for optimum string performance. The Samick AV6 electric guitar is a beautiful and well made instrument, and worthy of any serious player – and at this price, almost anyone can afford it!
