The Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster guitar is one of the longest-running production models in Fender's history. The Fender Telecaster guitar has been modified only slightly in its more than 50 legendary years, with its great strength inherent in its classic simplicity.

The American Vintage '52 Tele has a premium ash body, one-piece U-shaped maple neck with 7.25"-radius fingerboard, single-ply black pickguard and original Tele circuitry. The three-position switch exude vintage authenticity, as does the brass bridge saddles and ashtray bridge cover. A vintage six-saddle bridge and a modern wiring update kit are included. This 1952 Fender Tele reissue is only available in Butterscotch Blonde finish.

In 1951 Leo Fender introduced a prototype solid-body guitar that would eventually be called the Telecaster® guitar. The Fender Tele, as it was often called then and still is today, was the first solid-body Spanish-style electric guitar to be commercially mass-produced.

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is the world's foremost manufacturer of guitars, amplifiers and related equipment since 1946.
