I'm an up-and-coming musician (the words I prefer to "starving artist:) and I was looking for something affordable with 88 keys. The Casio PX100 was perfect! It came with a free double-X brace stand and pedal. Now, for the things you don't hear from other people... Contrary to what advertisers may boast, the sound does not "rival a grand piano" --nothing can, really, unless it's a grand piano. I think the sound is pretty good considering everything. The pedal that came with seemed like it would break any second, so I bought a new one. The only other drawback was no output jacks for amps. Only headphone and midi. This isn't much of a problem though; I found a converter at radio shack for $4. If you want to get a keyboard and are on a budget, by all means purchase this one! (Especially if you travel to alot of gigs--it's compact and lightweight)
We shopped around for a digital piano that met our budget, and we found it and the best deal in the Casio AP200. It's a great buy and has ample features.
