A beginner's guitar does not necessarily have to sound or act like a beginner's guitar, and that's one reason Alvarez created the RD8. The RD8 Alvarez Regent acoustic guitar is designed to help turn aspiring students into better guitarists.

The Alvarez RD8 acoustic guitar is a full-size dreadnought guitar with a select Sitka Spruce top and features mahogany back and sides, chrome die cast tuners, rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The RD8 is designed for solid performance and sets a new standard for value in its price range. Alvarez guitars have a Limited Lifetime Warranty to guarantee you many years of musical inspiration and playing pleasure.

The RD8 acoustic guitar and all Alvarez guitars are subjected to a detailed inspection to ensure that only instruments of the highest quality are allowed into the guitar marketplace. The guitars go through an advanced setup process that includes a full fretboard level and dress, filing of nut slots, multiple neck/truss rod adjustments, and exacting bridge saddle measurements. This important quality control process ensures that each Alvarez and Alvarez Yairi guitar is individually optimized for unparalleled playability.
