The Alvarez RD20SC is an acoustic electric guitar. It features the Alvarez System 200T Preamp/EQ and provides the natural acoustic sound reproduction that is desired by all acoustic guitar players. It's simple design uses three controls: volume, bass and treble, and also features a digital tuner for quick and easy tuning.

The Alvarez System 200T preamp is powered by a 9 Volt battery mounted in the top of the control chassis. It's easy to access the battery compartment by pushing the tab in and lifting the battery plate.
The built-in chromatic digital tuner can be accessed at any time, whether the guitar is plugged in, or not. The digital tuner features an automatic shut-off that will turn the tuner off after 3 minutes of use.

This Alvarez acoustic electric provides a solid performance and sets a new standard for function and value in its price range. The RD20SC is a full-size acoustic electric guitar with a solid Sitka Spruce top and features mahogany back and sides, chrome die cast tuners, rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Alvarez guitars have a Limited Lifetime Warranty to guarantee you many years of musical inspiration and playing pleasure.

The RD20SC acoustic electric and all Alvarez guitars are subjected to a detailed inspection to ensure that only instruments of the highest quality are allowed into the guitar marketplace. The guitars go through an advanced setup process that includes a full fretboard level and dress, filing of nut slots, multiple neck/truss rod adjustments, and exacting bridge saddle measurements. This important quality control process ensures that each Alvarez and Alvarez Yairi guitar is individually optimized for unparalleled playability.
