The Alvarez Yairi WY1TS acoustic electric features the patented Yairi Direct Coupled Bridge design which couples the string to the top for more efficient transfer of energy. The WY1TS is designed to reproduce a truly natural acoustic guitar sound when used with professional live sound or recording equipment. It features a cutaway body that allows for free access to the upper fret registers, and is voiced for optimum acoustic performance.

Whether you're playing for an audience of one or a thousand, the WY1TS acoustic electric Alvarez Yairi will reproduce your sound clearly and accurately. Special emphasis is given to produce a close balance between low, mid and high frequencies.

The Alvarez Yairi WY1TS acoustic electric guitar features the Alvarez System 600TMK II electronics, which are known as one of the most natural sounding acoustic electric systems available. When you plug-in this acoustic guitar, you hear a natural acoustic guitar sound.

The Alvarez System 600T Mk II adds a new dimension of flexibility and functionality to your live and recorded sound. Use the internal AUX input to mix in the added color of the Alvarez ASP50 MK II magnetic soundhole pickup, or of the Alvarez ACM50 condenser microphone. A sophisticated NOTCH filter offers superior control of feedback without altering the basic components of the acoustic sound. Internal trim pots adjust the gain of the TREBLE and BASS sliders, allowing you to fine-tune the System 600T Mk II to various body shapes. Also, you stay in tune with the built-in chromatic digital tuner.

The WY1TS acoustic electric and all Alvarez guitars are subjected to a detailed inspection to ensure that only instruments of the highest quality are allowed into the guitar marketplace. The guitars go through an advanced setup process that includes a full fretboard level and dress, filing of nut slots, multiple neck/truss rod adjustments, and exacting bridge saddle measurements. This important quality control process ensures that each Alvarez and Alvarez Yairi guitar is individually optimized for unparalleled playability.
